Hello, I’m Elde! I’m a 33-year-old woman originally from Estonia, and living in Helsinki. I’ve been working in pet care for several years and have experience with both cats and dogs of different breeds, personalities, ages, and energy levels, including rescue animals and pets with behavioral sensitivities.

I work from home, so I can give pets plenty of attention and company. I rarely leave animals alone for more than a few hours at a time, and when caring for a pet, I never leave overnight. I understand how important consistency, calmness, and safety are, especially for animals adjusting to a new environment 😌

Dogs are usually walked 2–3 times a day depending on their needs and energy level, with at least one longer walk, which could be from 30 minutes to a couple of hours. I always try to learn about each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, rather than forcing them into a fixed schedule.

I’ve lived with cats for most of my life and have cared for many different dogs over the years, from dachshunds and Italian greyhounds to huskies and mixed-breed rescues. I treat animals calmly and gently, and give them time to feel safe and comfortable around me ☺️

When pets stay with me, I treat them like they’re my own 🩵 

I pay close attention to their wellbeing and behavior, send regular updates and photos, and talk openly with owners. If I ever notice anything concerning, I contact the owner immediately and always prioritize the animal’s welfare and safety.
