Hi all!

I am Egemen from Turkey, and I have been living in Helsinki for the last 3 years with my wife and our two cats. Growing up in Turkey, animals have always been an important part of my life. We used to take care of neighborhood stray cats and dogs in Ankara, Turkey voluntarily throughout the university. Besides that, we have more pets in my family than humans! My mom has three cats, my sister has three cats, my dad has 2 dogs, in addition to the countless strays that we have been caring since my childhood. 

Having so many pets in the family, I also gained experience in special cases, e.g. oral application of veterinary medicine, dermal applications, in addition to regular grooming, and playing. My expertise is mostly on cats since we have two cats ourself, yet I have experience with dogs as well.

As a person fascinated by pets myself, I very well understand the importance of a good care while away, and I assure that I take care of every pet as my own!

I spend 30-45 minutes with pets, making sure they have enough water and food until the next visit or the owners arrive. Depending on the behavior of the pet, I can play with them and groom them. Safety is quite important for me as a strictly indoor cat owner, so I can follow any security measures as the owner instructs (child locks, secondary locks etc). I commute with a car so in terms of any emergencies, I can use the car for transportation as well.
