Hi! My name is Vincent Weeda and I am a 35 year old guy living in Alppila, Helsinki. I am originally from the Netherlands and speak a little bit of Finnish, but feel more comfortable speaking English. (I can easily speak Finnish to your dog though.) 

I am a true dog lover and have previously been looking after the dogs of friends when they needed a dog sitter. Nowadays I also have a dog myself, Penny, a female Rhodesian Ridgeback (rhodesiankoira) born in September 2021. She is very social, gets along with every other dog and almost never barks. Penny is a large dog and very calm, she will be great company for your dog when (s)he stays here. 

I have experience with dog training and am a true believer of positive stimulation. Your dog should be vaccinated, but does not need to be spaded / castrated. Intact males are fine as well, apart from the time when Penny is in heat (juoksut), I will update my availability immediately when I notice that her heat starts. 

We live in an apartment building with a very large, fully fenced inner yard, where dogs are able to walk of leash. There are also 4 dog parks within 1 km walking distance, so if your dog likes those, I’d be happy to take him/her there. I am visiting dog parks almost every single day with Penny, so I have plenty of experience with meeting other dogs and how to handle different situations. 

I have experience with giving oral medication, eye drops, flushing ears, clipping nails, applying external medication (such as bayvantic tick prevention).
