My name is Valeriia, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by cats and have always helped friends and neighbors by looking after their pets whenever they travel. I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals — whether that means playing for hours, giving them attention, cuddles, or simply keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable.

I hold a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, which means I can confidently provide medication and give special care while owners are away. I also have experience helping and treating stray animals that often came to our home. In addition, I completed a short internship in a veterinary clinic focused on exotic animals and birds.

For more than 10 years, I have worked with bats (tropical species too), including 7 years of hands-on treatment and care experience. I am comfortable with unusual or sensitive species and always approach every animal with patience, calmness, and respect.

I also grew up with dogs and absolutely love going on walks, playing outside, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need.

Currently, I am a PhD student in Biology, which gives me a flexible schedule. I am available for visits at almost any time of day, overnight stays, or even full-time pet care for longer periods such as weeks.

I speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian fluently, understand some Polish, and can communicate in Finnish with a translator if needed.

I truly love meeting animals of all kinds and making them feel safe, cared for, and happy while their owners are away. I would be very happy to help care for your pet!
