Ever since I was a child, I’ve always felt a natural connection with animals. I grew up spending time with the pets of friends and family—playing with them, keeping them company, and learning to appreciate their unique personalities. Being around animals has always brought me joy, and I truly miss having that presence in my daily life since moving abroad.

One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my friend’s cat, Kivi, for nearly a year while she was away. At first, I was a bit nervous—I wanted to make sure he felt safe and well looked after. Over time, I learned to read his body language, respect his boundaries, and understand the importance of patience and routine in building trust. Kivi started off quite independent, but gradually he grew more comfortable with me, and watching that bond develop was incredibly rewarding.

While I have more experience with cats, I’m also confident and comfortable caring for dogs. I enjoy outdoor walks and can tailor the duration and intensity to each dog’s energy level—typically 20 to 40 minutes per walk, depending on their needs. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual daily routine, including feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks, and I make sure pets are never left alone for more than 3–4 hours unless otherwise arranged.

I’m also comfortable with basic medication administration (e.g., pills or topical treatments) and know how to stay calm and act quickly in case of an emergency. I always keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

For me, pet sitting isn’t just a task—it’s a genuine joy. I take pride in providing a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pet, just as I would for my own.
