Hi, I'm Diana! 👋🐾

My name is Diana, and I recently moved to Jyväskylä, where I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Jyväskylä.

I am a qualified veterinarian (DVM) from Brazil with professional experience caring for companion animals. Although I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Finland and therefore cannot provide veterinary consultations or medical procedures here, my veterinary education and experience give me extensive knowledge of animal health, behaviour and welfare.

My professional experience is not limited to dogs and cats. I also have extensive experience caring for small mammals, birds, reptiles and other exotic pets, allowing me to provide safe, knowledgeable and attentive care for a wide variety of species.

Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic or a senior needing extra attention, I will provide patient, loving and individualized care.

🏡 About my home

I live in a clean, quiet and pet-friendly apartment in Jyväskylä, providing a calm and safe environment for pets. I only accept a limited number of pets at a time, ensuring each animal receives plenty of individual attention and care.

🐕 Daily routine

As a PhD researcher, I have a flexible schedule and often work from home, allowing me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. Dogs are never left alone for long periods and receive regular walks, playtime, affection and mental stimulation throughout the day.

I enjoy walking in the green areas and parks around Jyväskylä, adapting the length and pace of each walk to the dog's age, energy level and individual needs.
