Hello,

My name is Jake and I'm 28 years old from the UK. I live in Lauttasaari with my partner Iiris and we are looking to fill our free time with making a little extra money and spending time with fluffy friends after our beloved Riika (cat) passed the other month.

Me and Iiris work at very different times so there should aways be one of us at home available at day or night to walk, feed, or spend time with your pet at our or your home. Multiple visits should be very possible too if boarding is not a possibility.

Most of my experience with pets comes from growing up with cats, my own family cats or the local strays in Abu Dhabi where I grew up. But dogs were also often in my environment through friends and family friends although I never had my own. Iiris however did grow up with dogs and we plan on getting our own soon once the time is right. I'm used to all sorts of pets and animals. I did volunteering at Emirates park zoo for a short time and have raised quite a few cats from young feral strays into loving house/outdoor cats as well as owning blind and disabled cats.

Needless to say we are both animal lovers and intend on keeping your pet as happy as possible while you're away including multiple walks a day around the Lauttasaari coast. Having moved around multiple countries I have had to introduce cats to new environments quite often and have learnt how to make it as stress free as possible. The dogs I have experience with have been up to 60kg+ king shepherds to tiny Pomeranians. Iiris grew up with a schipperke (laivakoira) and poodles.

Our wish is to use our flexibility to create personalised pet care for each animal household!
