I'm an Australian pet sitter living in central Oulu. I moved here 3 years ago and since then I have been working and studying. I have had pets my entire life these included horses, dogs, turtles, and fish. I love working with different kinds of pets. I have a cat of my own in Helsinki, his name is Brian. I have done the primary studies for a vet nurse, so I am well versed in basic medication and I understand different types of pet care. I have a basic understanding of reptile and arachnid care and I am happy to do feeding and habitat cleaning for them.I was a foster carer for kittens and dogs, working with them to prepare them for their homes doing house and behaviour training, medical care and socializing them. Many of the animals in my pictures are animals I fostered and trained for rehoming; some are animals I was recently looking after for friends.I have most parts of the days free, and I am happy to do early morning or late evening checks. I offer in-home pet sitting staying for 30 minutes a visit, longer if requested. I can also offer basic animal grooming, dog walking as well as cleaning litter boxes when asked. I am also interested in doing basic training for puppies and dogs when out for walks. Walks with the dogs depend on the need and energy level of the dog anything from 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on their socialization levels and owners' request I am happy to do big walks and dog park visits (over an hour). I am also flexible on price and services so if you require something not listed, we can organize something and talk prices. I take short notice bookings and have flexible cancellation options as well as rescheduling. I do not have a car to transport animals, but I am happy to take them to grooming appointments and vets that are within walking distance if needed. I am also happy to take dogs on public transport if you would like them to take specific walks.

Olen Saana, ikää 25 vuotta ja kokemusta koirista löytyy koko elämän ajalta. Työskentelen eläinten parissa ja muun muassa tätä kautta osaamista koirista on tullut melko paljon. Osan ajasta on oma koira kotona, mutta silloin kun ei ole, hoitokoirat olisivat erittäin tervetulleita.
Työskentelen tällä hetkellä hyvin joustavasti, joten tarvittaessa pystyn olemaan kotona miltei koko päivän. Lähtökohtaisesti kuitenkin toivon, että hoidettava koira pärjää esimerkiksi kauppareissun ajan yksin. Eroahdistuneiden koirien hoito onnistuu erikseen sovitusti. Pystyn sitoutumaan hoitojaksoihin parhaiten lähempänä ajankohtaa kuin useiden kuukausien päähän, sillä lyhyemmällä aikavälillä tiedän muut työkuviot paremmin.
Ystävät kuvailevat minua luotettavaksi, iloiseksi ja lämminhenkiseksi tyypiksi, ja itse voisin lisätä vielä, että hoidan koiria reippaasti, aktiivisesti ja jokaisen koiran yksilölliset tarpeet huomioiden. Esimerkiksi säännöllinen lääkitys ym. sairauden hoitoon liittyvä ei ole uutta. Erityisen paljon kokemusta löytyy kääpiösnautsereista, westieistä, chihuahoista ja pienistä terrieriroduista.
Asun hyvien lenkkimaastojen lähellä rauhallisella alueella Kastellissa ja vapaapäivät kuluukin pitkälti ulkoillen ja ulkoilmasta nauttien. :)
Toivon, että tuot hoitoon vain sisäsiistejä alle 15kg koiria, jotka eivät ole kovin haukkuherkkiä. Hoitojaksolla kotoani löytyy mm. ruoka-, vesi-, ja aktivointikuppeja sekä pyyhkeitä. Otahan yhteyttä jos kiinnostuit!
